Dear God, Thank You for giving me someone who wakes me up every morning at 5AM during school days even if I don’t want to. Thank You for giving me someone I’d want to be with when I get stuck in an island. Thank You for giving me someone who’ll say “Bumili ka nanaman ng damit/bag/sapatos? San mo naman ilalagay yan? Nakita mo na ngang bibigay na aparador mo!” everytime I waste money. Thank You for giving me a mother and a father, both rolled into one. Thank You for giving us someone who scolds us when we’re wrong. Thank You for giving us someone who supports us in everything we do. Thank You for giving us someone who constantly reminds us of the dos and don’ts. Thank You for giving us someone who is patient enough to deal with us even when at times we act like spoiled brats. Thank You for giving us someone who takes care of us and stays right beside our bed when we don’t feel good. Thank You for giving us a confidante, someone whom I can share my everything to. Thank You for giving us someone who’ll give everything to us even when she has nothing left. And above all else, thank You for giving us someone that some people don’t have but they wished they had. Thank You for giving us a mother. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
